And you thought the Stone Age was over. We are living in the Stone Age today. A crafty stonecutter looks for the stone of the right size for the right place. He already knows what it is going to look like before he starts. We are just a stone in a pile. The stonecutter has picked us out and is chipping away. This year's camp we are going to learn about these strange LIVING stones that are not of this world. The ROCK. The ROCK OF AGES. THE CORNERSTONE

Our key verse: 1 Peter 2:5 ~ you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

"I've got a mansion just over the hilltop….." and it all begins at Lariat Creek in a rustic old cabin or in the brand new log cabin. We sing the song but what are we doing to ensure that our mansion will be ready and waiting for us on the other side. When a building is built it starts with a sturdy foundation and then it can be made to stand for a long time. What does your foundation look like? Is it able to hold up the pillars that support the rest of your structure? During this session of camp we will check our foundation and work our way to the top to make certain that we can stand firm in the trials of life.
